Create Image Uploader for Widget

I found this post// Use Media upload in custom widget on wordpress 3.5 I’m not experienced in any of this so I pretty much just copied the code he provided into my own functions.php file. I uploaded the JS and everything… I then replaced certain code that « sven » posted in his answer. The uploader works perfectly but when I view front end the image isn’t even displayed… Here is the code within my functions.php// (it includes the registered sidebars and the custom widget etc) if (function_exists(‘register_sidebar’)) { register_sidebar(array( ‘name’ =>…

How Can I use WP_Query to Only Display 1 Post from Custom Post Type if Query Returns Posts with Matching ID in Custom Field

I have searched high and low for a solution and couldn’t find anything; hopefully someone here more skilled than myself can lend a hand. I have two testimonial videos (from a video custom post type) displayed randomly every time the page loads. There are different clients that have testimonials and in some cases, there are multiple testimonials from the same client. I have the query working that randomly displays two videos from the custom post type (while filtering out a category completely). What I’m trying to avoid is loading two…

Active Directory and group permissions

I’m trying to modify WordPress to have the following features: Users are created in Active Directory and assigned to groups. Users can login to WordPress via Active Directory. Pages can be locked down to only be visible to members of certain Active Directory groups. A « Downloads » page can be seen by members of any of several groups but each group can only see downloads that they have been given permission to see (I’m flexible to how this could be represented in WordPress). Can anyone suggest a plugin that could help?…

Get Image Description

I’m trying to make a post split in 2 columns. The first and left one is going to be any image inside the post, and the second and right one will be the_content() (excluding the images). So as of now I have no problem pulling all the images. However – I can’t seem to get the image caption or title or description. Heres my code: <?php if ( $images = get_posts(array( ‘post_parent’ => $post->ID, ‘post_type’ => ‘attachment’, ‘numberposts’ => -1, ‘orderby’ => ‘title’, ‘order’ => ‘ASC’, ‘post_mime_type’ => ‘image’, )))…

Add data-icon input to WordPress custom menu links

I need to add a data-icon= » » input to my WordPress Custom Menu input box thing. This is so I can use an icon font and type the code in for a specific icon and in the CSS use pseudo elements to match it up and display the icon. I’ve found loads of tutorials which show how to extend the Walker_Nav_Menu class so I can add an attribute, but none of them extend this into adding a new input box on the WordPress Custom Menu screen (http://cl.ly/Sn0C) and then having the…
