How to get list of posts from permalinks?

I am using an API which tracks metrics on parts of my site. The only useful bit it saves though is the URL (permalink). What is the most efficient way to query up all the posts that match those permalinks, given the fact that I don’t have access to the ID’s to use post__in with WP_Query. The Tags are not displaying when creating a post

When creating a post, there is not an option to designate tags for that post. There is still a checkbox for displaying tags under « Screen Options, » and when checked, it still does not display. It is possible to add tags after the post has been created with « quick-edit, » where an input field shows up where you can add/edit tags. What files should I be looking in to get to the bottom of the problem? Is there possibly something I could be missing? I know there is relatively little background information…

Select All not working in a WordPress search filter

I am trying to create a Search Filter within WordPress to filter through all the custom taxonomies within a Custom Post Type. I have created a function that generates the dropdown so I can output each option value as a slug for my filter which is working already. My only issue is that the « Select All » option is not working. The results come back with nothing found when Selecting All. The filter can be here. The code I have used to create the function is: function adopt_custom_taxonomy_dropdown( $taxonomy, $orderby =…

Form isn’t inserting data into database with ajax plugin

I’ve been working at this for weeks without success. I’ve figured out problem after problem with the code, but none of the corrections seem to fix my core problem. The form doesn’t insert anything into the database and I don’t know why. In this particular example, submit results in going to the following URL: (myurl)/?dname=kl&age=56&action=postlesson. The homepage is what loads. I am piecing this together from examples and tutorials on the web. I’m new to ajax and to WordPress plugins so I might be missing something obvious. Please help me…

Suddenly the parent page attribute is missing on the page edit view. I’m using WordPress 3.9.1 and the newest Avada theme. The parent attribute has worked. Now it is not shown as page attribute. I’ve updated WordPress and the theme. It has not helped. I have switched the theme and set Avada back again and it worked for a short time. Now do not again. What can I do? Thanks!
