How enter custom post meta or custom field on box post list archive page?

I ask a question that I think many people are interested in knowing the answer. What I really can’t do with wordpress is to insert custom meta or dynamic custom fields into the post boxes (on the archive page) I don’t know if I’m explaining myself well, but I made a screen to show what I intend to do. I would like to know how to do it directly on wordpress with any theme and if it is possible also with elementor which is a plugin that I use a…

WooCommerce cart quantity/“Update Cart” button not working on mobile

I’m developing my first ever WooCommerce website (and, actually, first ever WordPress website) and I’ve run into a bit of a road block. On the cart page when I change the quantities and click the « Update Cart » button on the desktop site it works fine, however when I shrink the screen down to a mobile size it refreshes the page but doesn’t update the quantity. I’m fairly sure this is a problem with my theme (I’m creating a child of the Understrap theme) as it works fine if I change…

Tips for Technical Interviews

Yesterday, I spoke at ITKonket in Kragujevac, Serbia. During the Q&A after my talk, one great and non-technical question I got was for general advice on interviewing at tech companies. I decided to write down (and expand on) my answer in the hope that it might help someone else, too. Disclaimer I don’t claim to be an authority on interviewing. I don’t think this article is definitive or gospel. I’ve been self-employed for over five years—I haven’t interviewed for a full-time role for a long time. Your mileage will vary;…

Embedding Links to WPForms on a WP Page

I am not a developer but a new administrator on a website. I am trying to embed the provided WPForms link into the new WP Page I just added to this website. The link appears twice on the same page and neither links can be previewed. I’ve tried everything and thought I’d check here. Error messages are different for both links and are about:blank#blocked and « Sorry, the page you are looking for has an outdated link or is no longer available. » Can anyone help me? A Eulogy for my Grandfather

A few years after my grandmother died, I joined my mother and brother to visit her grave. Her remains are located in a crowded cemetery, one that has different markers to guide mourners to the right place. After visiting a different relative, my mum got turned around and could not get us back to my grandmother. My mum is a blisteringly smart woman, but directions are not her forte. The three of us wandered the rows in search of my grandmother, laughing at our predicament. Eventually, with my mother in…
